| Field of researchMgr. Martin Šveda, PhD. is focused is focused on suburbanization processes and impacts on transformation of suburban settlements, dealing with time-geography and observing time-spatial patterns of human behaviour. He also deals with the evaluation of spatial patterns of suburban localities as well as the methods leading to synthesis of population, settlement and environmental characteristics intended for typology of suburbanized hinterland of Bratislava. He has also participated in several projects for implementing mobile phone data in urban planning (Bratislava city council) and tourism (Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic). |
